‘Great quiet location, wonderful people Matt and Cheryl, one on the best new build barns I’ve seen, incredibly warm and cosy. The riding just topped it off, beautiful ride online the old railway, then back to a book and dinner in the oven, I would highly recommend this location and the wonderful couple ensuring your visit is everything you expected 👌’

‘Fantastic experience hacking at South Downs Trekking. Lovely instructors, friendly horses, and thoughtfully tailored to the different ability and experience we had. Highlight was walking the horses along the river! Would really recommend.
We stayed the night before in South Downs Lodge which was a lovely accommodation on the stables. Nice modern rustic vibe, incredibly cosy, and very quiet in the morning. Thanks especially to Cheryl for the lovely bread and eggs!’

‘We booked last minute and when we got there we were told we were their first ever guests. You wouldn't have known, Matthew and Cheryl are natural hosts and the property was amazing. Very attractively decorated and cozy and warm on a cold evening.
The property is part of their small trekking centre with 7 horses. My partner wanted to refresh her skills but I had not ridden a horse before, nevertheless we gave it a try. Cheryl was very patient with a first timer and the horses were well behaved. We spent a pleasant hour trekking through some beautiful countryside.
To sum up, friendly hosts, high specification accommodation, great location for those who enjoy the countryside.’

‘Matthew was an extremely great host, he honestly cares about his guests. We booked with a really short notice but he was very flexible. The place was super tidy and tastefully built with high quality furniture and accessories. The location is one of greatest to have a walk however due to recent rains bit wet but Matt was very kind to offer his wellies.
We will be back soon thanks million Matt!’
